DVCOU2RE NATURALISTIC WARRIORS
DVCOU2RE is an interdisciplinary artistic project founded in Mexico city in 2003 that fuses both conceptual elements, avant garde aesthetics and a distinct expressive voice into one interesting synthetic chaos. Full face crystal embellished masks, tribal references and wild naturalistic elements create a world of wonders filled with dreams and nightmares that gracefully connect fashion creation with an artistic aura.The materials put in use vary from opulent shades of gold metallics and acid washed denim to plastic, foam and recycled waste, reflecting an intriguing new approach that exposes an unexpected luxurious side. The most impressive parameter of DVCOU2RE besides the mysterious essence and intricate designs has to be the dramatic symbolism suggested. In a subtle manner DVCOU2RE manages to compose a theater play where masked warriors from the future, crystal monsters and violent mermaids take over and transport us in another dimension, where the animalistic, powerful and almost religious expressions of his unstoppable creatures trick our imagination and capture our eye.
